· Agite y Sirva Screendance Award 2017, aimed at Mexican artists
The Agite y Sirva Festival 2017 called for international entries of screendance / videodance / dance film works for its ninth edition.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Festival will grant the Agite y Sirva Screendance Award 2017, which is aimed at Mexican artists, and it consists of a First Prize of MX$15,000 (US$760 - €710), a Second Prize of MX$10,000 (US$500 - €475) and a Third Prize of MX$8,000 (US$400 - €380). The works will be evaluated by an international jury, who could declare desert any of the three prizes.
Also as every year, we will release the Official Selection Agite y Sirva 2017 of international screendance works. The selected and awarded works will be part of the Agite y Sirva Festival 2017's touring program in Mexico and abroad.
The deadline for screendance works reception was March 27th, 2017.
The Official Selection will be announced on April 28th, 2017.
Only selected authors or representatives must send the following to fest@agiteysirva.com at the latest on May 3rd, 2017:
· 2 still photos of the work (min. 300 dpi), and
· 1 file of the work in .mov or .mp4, H264 compression.
The Agite y Sirva Screendance Award's results will be announced on May 29th, 2017.
